Where do you start when planting a garden or border from scratch? It can seem a daunting task. Nurseries and garden centres are full of appealing plants, but which should you choose, and will the combination look good? Most of us have wasted money on plants which just haven’t worked how we wanted them to.

Sun or shade, moist or dry conditions - we can create a planting scheme for a border or entire garden which will grow successfully. The plants are carefully selected for the location, and the soil prepared as required with manure, specialist compost or fertiliser.

The rejuvenation option

This may be the solution if your garden is generally well-stocked but looking tired. Some plants may be overgrown or past their best, perhaps one or two borders are lacking inspiration. We can help you decide which plants to remove and carry out a ‘gap-filling’ exercise to inject some colour and structure.
